A Grin GPU miner from Minerbabe

Minerbabe is a GPU mining OS base on Linux. Minerbabe supports many digital coins.

Today, Minerbabe releases a new miner to support Grin.

You can use AMD/NVIDIA GPUs with 4G/6G/8G/10G memory to mining Grin now!

The miner is optimized for GPUs with different memory.

ROCm is a new computing driver from AMD. Unfortunately not all of the mining rigs support ROCm.

The miner is being continuously optimized. Install Minerbabe to automatically keep the miner being updated.

Minerbabe dev fee: 2% for Grin; 1% for the other coins.

The minerbabe’s kbminer for Grin is released under FAIR MINING license. As a result, half of the dev fee is for the coin developers.

None of the miners list here is the kbminer. Those miners are for the other coin. You need configure on the minerbabe’s web site to get the kbminer for Grin.

dude, you think that linux miners will start to reinstall their rigs because of your specific grin miner ? nope release the miner on your github repo for windows/linux if you would like to receive the 3% devfee

I tested out your OS/ miner.

It’s connecting to Sparkpool, but then it auto switches and tries to connect to stratum.mwgrinpool.com:3333- and the connection gets refused. stratum.mwgrinpool.com:3333 is not listed anywhere in my config file( I assume this must your Dev wallet).

Sorry, there is some mistake in the English version of minerbabe. We have fixed it. You can restart the mining process. However, the dev wallet is dynamic.

Can you release a standalone miner with the 3% fee instead in the OS? Many people will not do a full OS reinstall to mine with your miner for a few days till another public miner is out.

One more thing. I can’t control AMD fan speed from the GUI. Drive control works, but the manual fan speed config doesn’t.

I can confirm that C31 works with RTX 2080 (0.7 GPS), OS is super easy to use.
