Currently bminer only supports the Cuckaroo29 algorithm.

When I attempt to run bminer I get the following error:

Failed to initialize the CUDA platform: CudaError: Could not initialize the NVML library

Running Cuda 10, working fine with regular grin-miner software… Any ideas?

Improve performance of AE / Grin on Turing cards.
Improve performance of AE / Grin on lower-end CPUs and Windows platforms.
Support mining beam on leafpool and nicehash.
Fix the regression where /api/v1/devices is occasionally unresponsive.

AE mining on stock settings:

  • 11.00 Sol/s on RTX 2080ti
  • 8.3 Sol/s on RTX 2080

Grin mining on stock settings:

  • 10.8 G/s on GTX 2080Ti
  • 7.90 G/s on GTX 2080

Absolutely no difference on 1070.

Heard about the issue of same type of cards and/or rigs getting different speed? I got 2 almost identical rigs, with some of the cards giving me 4 gps while the others are stable at 6 gps.

Hey guys i have 1080tis and 1070tis bon same rig and keep getting failed to fetch device status for a number of my cards … what am i doing wrong… Using the latest bminer… Should I switch back to old one?

Yep - my 1070 no change - but on the RTX 2070 there is some improvement

Does anyone else here get a virus alert in Windows 10 when they download the latest bminer zip? Windows built in virus detector says the download is infected with Adware:Win32/Unwaders.C!ml

Can’t get it (cuckatoo31) working on my 1080ti.
