Gave it my best shot. Pitching grin in one tweet feels like an exercise in feynman technique.

I like this one too:

I am sorry if I am wrong why why keep asking Binance its just a exchange nothing else and exchange just just want their part of profit nothing else is Grin made for exchange to adopt i dont think so…

Look at chart…it is ATL and binance will list it with tx problems, still HF debates at every meeting…

Most of us dont know what will be the tx method next year…HTTPS will stay or not?

thnx god it is not in binance…it would drop to 0.10…

Yes, I don’t know for price evolution but it is true that a lot of times decisions are delayed for little reasons.
Considering more rapidity would be nice to bring a bit more dynamism in general

Well nobody knows what it will bring us,… but generally speaking… it should be a good thing. But I am afraid the vast majority of the community is sleeping.

GRIN may crash if big investors or influencer keep staying more and more indifferent. Usability has not been appealing to many, and the inflation, given how much this space is uncertain already makes 95% of people that have sympathy for GRIN still away from the coin

The community and the decision making is what can change the momentum

Bigger exchanges bring more liquidity. If the price goes up, we get miners back and the chain is more secure. Hopefully some of the people that buy grin on Binance run a node making dandelion stronger. It’s all interconnected. Bleeding out doesn’t feel healthy for the network.

Yes you are right, may be I am aware but I think exchange is not only source for price increase a example WazirX an exchange (a part of Binance ecosystem) is not that good but its token just launched on 21st Jan 2020 listed in coinmarket capital and look at the price/ranking nothing to do with the token’s purpose https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/wazirx/ . I feel its all game and Grin is not made for this, but yes as you said we/community need to do something to bring back miners :rocket:

:+1: We’ll welcome you back when it is the profitable coin for you to mine again.

P.S. NIMIQ is CPU mined… You still have GPUs to point somewhere, and grin is still near tops in daily returns

Their docs and 3rd party articles from google all suggested they use Aragon2D CPU algorithm. They also dont come up on whattomine or any of the similar websites, which only show GPU and ASIC coins. But I did learn some cool things, their web interfaces and stuff they are trying to do seem cool.

Also, get your point if you can mine beyond your costs (or if you can cover your costs) then you for sure would want a coin with clear prospects to increase in price. I wonder if you considered the ~infinite emission the first year and 100% emission the second year, zero use cases, and 4 known hardforks coming when you expected grin to increase in price dramatically?

Either way, we’ll welcome you back when the times change.
