Inspired by https://suchwow.xyz from the Wownero community and how much fun I’ve had making and posting memes to the site, I have made https://suchgrin.lol to bring the fun to the Grin community. There is no account sign-up, just solve a CAPTCHA to submit your meme for approval to appear on the site along with your wallet address or contact information for sending slatepack tips.
I re-used their front end, and wrote the backend in PHP. Please test it out and submit some memes you have made. I will not approve AI-generated memes as I don’t care for them and am against the theft of others art by scraping to be able to generate the slop they produce. Have fun and happy tipping!
I will check submissions daily for approval.

Just a reminder, posting memes with your wallet address doesn’t do much if it’s offline. I want to tip whoever submitted memes but can’t due to their wallet not listening. This is why I included a contact field so people can receive slatepacks if they can’t keep a wallet up 24/7.

You can now leave comments on individual memes. I believe that brings the site to full parity with suchwow.xyz, except you have to register to post there. Suggestions for ways to improve the site are welcome. I know I need to work on the CSS for mobile, that’s my next task.

For the month of October, I am going to have a meme contest on the site. The memes who accumulate the most comments will determine the results. And there is a bonus for whomever posts the most OC memes I haven’t seen before.
