Time for another Grin meme and marketing contest. Theme for this months meme contest is ‘Halloween & Grin whales’ :ghost: :whale:. Plenty of fun images that already pop-up in my mind
anything is allowed, memes, wallpapers or any other fun marketable material.

I will donate the first10 Grin to this meme contest, hope others like the Grin CC and others might chip in.
Donated grin will be distributed based on the most cumulative likes (so multiple contributions do count) on the forum. Feel free though to distribute them via other channels such as Telegram, Red-it or Twitter with a link to the forum so people can up-vote what they see and like.

Prices will be distributed as follows

  • :1st_place_medal: 50%
  • :2nd_place_medal: 30%
  • :3rd_place_medal: 20%
  • beyond that, eternal fame and eternal grinning

An idea just crossed my mind, should we change the concept of Grin from ‘privacy coin’ to ‘privacy meme coin’?. What we have advantages here:

  • A hype of meme coin will be boomed soon
  • A smiley logo
  • An unlimited emission

The concept of a coin is determined by its community and not written in stone, So why not!

I think many in the community do not see Grin as a privacy coin, more as a ‘privacy-preserving’ coin, or a proper coin since any proper coin should be privacy-preserving.

Grin has indeed infinite possibilities as meme coin.In addition to the meme concepts you mentioned.

  • Harry Potter coin
  • (Harry Potter) magic internet money
  • Maximum minimalism
    • so minimal, is it even there
    • is it invisible
  • Grin is dead

I would not say we have to change the concept of the coin itself, I would rephrase it to we have to embrace and enjoy Grin’s potential. Both from a technical perspective (interactivity) as well as well as from its magical meme marketing potential :+1:

Did you try a lower resolution? Maybe the file is to big.
