Hyperinflation is a rapidly accelerating inflation [1]. Grin’s inflation rate at genesis was infinite (creating 60 Grin out of 0). It’s been doing that ever since genesis, exactly like Bitcoin did in its first 4 years. Neither were ever hyperinflating. The only difference is that Grin’s inflation rate is decreasing smoothly, like 1/n, while Bitcoin’s has some exponential bumps overlaid (2^-O(n)) to leave next-to-nothing for future generations to mine, and achieve a much higher wealth concent…
