I have a full size iPollo G1 which is mining about 1/2 speed, and im wondering where I can get a hashboard repair for this asic? The places I have contacted so far don’t work on this miner.
Did you contacted ipollo firm ? They were giving such repair service earlier.
@Neo-Geo knows better.
Sorry, I don’t have any experience repairing nor replacing iPollo’s hash boards. Never had one fail. I recently had a G1-mini overheating, would stop mining soon after powering up. Disassembled and found that two mounting pins of the heatsink had broken off from the hash board so the heatsink was mostly unattached from the chip. Was able to DIY repair using bonding glue +fresh thermal paste and that solved ever since.
do you have the brand name or suggest any amazon products? mine is having same issue.
I used this for reattaching the mounting pegs (up to 4 of them) to hash board, what we screw the heatsink into. Be sure to press fully flush/flat/even, then let it set untouched for 24h to fully cure, and don’t let glue get into the screw hole.

The best thermal solution is the Honeywell PTM7950 phase change thermal pad which are a bit spendy. Personally I use Arctic MX-6 thermal paste in all 11 of my servers and have never have CPU temp issues.
Send them to hm tech in NC .I’ve sent them mine before and they all where fixed for a decent price and in a less than a week.
If there is a problem, I usually send it to Hangzhou, China for repair, which is the location of the ipollo manufacturer.
I contacted iPollo, they don’t support it anymore.
Is there a company name or other contact info of anywhere which can repair it?
Ron

They’ve provided warranty work on a G1-mini before at no cost on my end. Skeptical if out of warranty work would be justified for a mini, but definitely would be for a full G1.
