True, but those projects except for Doge have linear tail emission which is different from a simple linear supply like Grin. Still, you would expect more people to understand linear supply since it does not get any simpler and indeed other projects have linear (tail-) emission.

doge also didn’t start with linear emission, ethereum doesn’t have linear emission afaik unless they’ve changed it again

There is a great thing in the linear proposal - the punishable annual inflation, which decreases every year

Very much like Grin, a quest to be simple, minimal and leigtweigt and true to its purpose. Add any unecessary complexity, extra unneeded material or features and it will become slower and less suited for its purpose.
I think I can do something with the “quest” part🤔.
