I have no problem with KYC and AML as long as the spending afterwards are private.
I can say that because I have the luxury of living in a free democratic country and not in a country with a totalitarian regime. For those living in such countries, full privacy is essential. El Salvador is quite totalitarian unfortunately, combine that with Bitcoins lack of privacy makes it worrisome.
Indeed BTC is good enough as on and off-ramp.
