I saw some people and some medias / apps in China used some super funny “name” for Grin, such as “哈哈币”, “格林币”, or even a spoof “归零币”.
For the right image, perhaps we can figure out a formal and nice Chinese name for Grin instead of those.
We can spread this message to all Grin Chinese communities and collect enough serious options firstly, and then start a voting to choose a best one. And please feel free to reply here for any suggestions, thanks.
Great point! 1 syllable is a must-have, in my opinion. Although, I may have a cultural bias. I don’t know much about chinese culture. I figure domain names are a good analogy. The good ones are short, in fact, there are no 4 character combination domain names unregistered anymore.
1 syllable, 1 word, simple, private, lightweight, e-cash: Grin
Find that 1 syllable 1 word character my Chinese hombres.
On a side note, the grin community could use a ‘Charlie Lee’…
