Hey all, this is a followup from the last governance meeting where we discussed setting this group up to discuss the possibility of a moderation team, what that may look like (is it more community management?) and what the roles should be (enforcing code of conduct, acting as a conduit between the community and develops to help make sure everyone is being heard etc). If you have strong feelings on moderation/community management for Grin I encourage you to share them here so we can map out what we need for a successful team.

It could be as simple as helping keep things civil in chats/forums. Personally I think that there is an opportunity to help advocate strongly for things the average person in the community wants to see to developers and help advocate strongly for things developers are doing to support the project to the community (moving more toward community management). There is a lot of potential synergy here that could benefit Grin overall if we can come together in the right way.

This chat is just intended as an exploration of these things to see if we converge toward any consensus about what a moderation team might look like and what it might do.
