This topic aims to improve future development related to Grin by centralizing all existing work, whether finished or unfinished, to date.
Motivation:
Working on Grin can sometimes be challenging, as documentation or community projects are often discussed in different places. I believe that having a central point where all projects related to Grin are indexed and easy to find could facilitate future development.
What is expected:
If you are currently developing on Grin or know of any projects related to Grin, whether finished or unfinished, please make yourself known under this topic by providing the following information, for example:
For each non-redundant response under this topic, a matching index of the provided information will be added to the list of related Grin projects. Ideally, a 1:1 list should be added to the Grin website under the community section.
Rewards:
Each non-redundant response will be rewarded with 1 Grin. To be eligible, I expect at least 5 different community project descriptions, as shown in the example, to be present in the response. This could earn you at least 5 Grins per response if the criteria are met, up to 10 for 10 project descriptions per response. A slatepack message will be sent to you in your DM. Do not answer anyone but me regarding the reward, messages are my own, and I am not affiliated with anyone. Be aware of scams attempts !!!
List:
The one to be edited… The list may be too long and could make this topic unreadable. Depending on the responses, I may create another topic containing the list. In that case, a link will be placed under this list section.
Thanks for addressing this. We have as a top priority the organisation of projects being worked on and in planning stage. We would like to have centralised visibility of all repos for relevant projects and manage them using Github Projects where timelines, progress, issues, etc can be seen at a glance. We plan to utilise the main Grin organisation (mimblewimble · GitHub).
You’re welcome. I’m going to create a new topic with the community projects, so this thread remains dedicated to the community listing and rewards. The new topic will serve as a clear, read-only list of community projects. This could maybe serve as the readme in the future repo, with all community projects being submodules.
