I’m sure it is not a hardware issue because I have been mining ethereum with my 4 gtx 1070 ti’s for months now, no hardware changes at all.
I’ve read through the forum guide and successfully solo mining off of 1 gpu, (device 0)
However after attempting to configure a second miner, still only 1 is mining, configured like follows:
[[mining.miner_plugin_config]]
plugin_name = "cuckaroo_cuda_29"
[mining.miner_plugin_config.device_parameters.0]
USE_DEVICE = 1
[mining.miner_plugin_config.device_parameters.1]
USE_DEVICE = 1
anything I’m doing wrong?
[[mining.miner_plugin_config]]
plugin_name = "cuckaroo_cuda_29"
[mining.miner_plugin_config.device_parameters.0]
USE_DEVICE = 1
[mining.miner_plugin_config.device_parameters.1]
USE_DEVICE = 1
Assuming you are using grin-miner, try this in your config instead:
[[mining.miner_plugin_config]]
plugin_name = "cuckaroo_cuda_29"
[mining.miner_plugin_config.parameters]
device = 0
[[mining.miner_plugin_config]]
plugin_name = "cuckaroo_cuda_29"
[mining.miner_plugin_config.parameters]
device = 1

yes that worked, I just now figured that out, the guide is very shorthand
