If Litecoin implements MimbleWimble, how would it compare to Grin in scaling? Does the legacy code make it less scalable?
Yes. Only mimblewimble transactions on the extension block can be pruned. Main chain transactions are still subject to legacy protocol limitations. The extension block provides some privacy benefits for LTC, but not much of a scalability improvement.
