From what I understood contracts flow is new default manual method, so proofs are needed here.

Contracts flow is still experimental, in the gui-wallet you have to select it manually to enable it, but using contract flow should enable early proof generation by default in every transaction.

I see, so please look into the following issue: CONTRACTS: can't make a transaction Ā· Issue #729 Ā· mimblewimble/grin-wallet Ā· GitHub, because it doesnā€™t seem to be working now. Once fixed Iā€™m happy to continue testing! Iā€™m excited about contracts flow, early proofs and default payjoin!

SlateMachine
