GPS seems low with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080

Hi,

I am running a grin-miner on cuckaroo_cpu_compat_29 on Grinmint EU with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080.

I am currently getting max. 0.24 GPS. That seems low to me. I noticed on my grin server however that I am in the process of “Downloading chain state for state sync.” in the step 2/4. Could that influence that seemingly low GPS?

Hi - I’m not an expert but you should get at least 4 GPS on a 1080

You are mining using your CPU. Read the documentation on how to configure grin-miner to mine using your Nvidia GPU.
