Would it be possible to make a backup of the forum and upload it somewhere?
I would like to download the backup, just in case, because this forum has valuable discussions, opinions from founders and developers, a lot of answered questions about Grin.
I agree the forum contains important information. I guess there is a backup somewhere. If not, you can parse it with some scripts. I have some scripts, I can try, but no doubt some information will be lost. Also have to be careful not to get blocked as requesting all pages is close to a dos attack😛.
As I understand, this is Discourse forum, which has built in backup capabilities, so you can backup and restore the forum in its native form. That would be a preferred way to make a backup.
Please consider that a backup contains also private user information that should should stay private.

I see people are using httrack utility to create static backups of discourse forums, I will try that.
