I’m thinking about another approach of x402, now most web traffic on the internet is going down due to AI/bot, and many website owners got negative revenue (ads/sponsor…) due to this, maybe in future there should be a way to ‘monetize’ the website by ‘forcing’ AI/bot to pay in order to get the data/info? Grin could be the candidate for such payment by AI?
This can be simply implemented by integration of Cuckoo Grin’s POW to any endpoint, so users should mine GRIN to use any service. We’ll need to adopt p2pool so everyone can earn from using internet. Human or robot. Ideally network can be protected by these bots. I guess in the future it will be completely unprofitable to mine GRIN at usual way (with ASICs), whats can be good for decentralization. 100% autonomous network that can go down only if internet will go down at whole planet.

It could be a nice idea, if I remember in the past we switched from GPU to ASIC for secured hashrate and protect the network from attacks. so, the remain question is how to avoid such case again if grin is able to be mined by every device, i think we should only ‘target’ the source request from AI since they had good infrastructure and might be willing to ‘pay’ for requests.
