A brilliant initiative which makes complete sense, huzzah!
I assume this is all in the concept phase and nobody from Tor has yet been contacted, although I’m guessing they will be soon. Improvements in Tor can only benefit Grin, and Tor benefits from Grin’s uniquely tight integration of its protocol for cryptocurrency payments, thus showcasing its privacy-protecting properties.
It would be remiss of me not to bring up the rather unusual history and origin of the Tor Project, lest it somehow cast shade on Grin, but my information is perhaps outdated or incomplete, and subject to changes within the Tor Project in recent years. Moreover, any such concerns are almost certainly moot since Tor is an open source project and that Grin’s interests are principally privacy and the code of privacy. But I bring it up anyway for completeness of thought, and also in the hope some here could shine light in the dark, and alleviate any such worries, unfounded or otherwise.
