Hey Can you mine GRIN on a raspberry pi and if yes can anyone point me to a tutorial?

According to GRIN documentation you need a CPU + a GPU with at least 6GB VRAM, so unfortunately no you cannot. See here: https://github.com/mimblewimble/docs/wiki/How-to-mine-Grin

You could turn your Raspberry Pi into a full node though!

what would turning it into a node do?
