No, not with a G1 or G1 Mini. ASICs are one trick ponies, they cannot be used for folding at home calculations, it requires a general purpose GPU. Those who mine with a high end GPU can join. I expect fewer people are willing to contribute to folding at home since electricity prices have gone up in recent years. Also thanks to alphafold being so effective, most important proteins (e.g. dissease associated proteins), have already been folded.
I used to contribute, now donating my GPU time is just too expensive.

You can try using Kaggle free tier. They offer 30 hours of high GPU run time for projects like this per week I believe.
