@hans1024 , itās the inverse. Sapphire RX570 has 16gb memory which means solves have a fidelity of 1 as opposed to 11gb which have .7 fidelity. so 0.42*1/.7 or 0.6gps normalized to 2080ti numbers.

Why so difficult? Itās easy. Right now:
2080Ti = 1.2gps.
RX570 16gb = 0.42gps. (based on their info).

if this RX570 with 16GB GDDR5 can deliver around 0.42gps on c31, the 7nm vega with 16GB HBM2 will able to do how much ?

Only diff is the 16GB ram. Speed as normal RX570. Itās the same 256bit interface, 2304 stream processors and 224 GB/s bandwith. Still It will enable Cuckatoo31+ Windows mining for the masses.

Slightly off topic, but while we are talking about radeons, i have a vega56 8 mb that i cannot get to run on ocl_cuckatoo, it crashes. Is this card not compatible? I have managed to get all my other AMD cards to run it ok. rx570ās, and rx560ās. Should i go post an issue over in the grin-miner github?

I did order a couple. I have been beging the Sapphire team for a week straight. Shippig is imminent now. Seemed so ga@ to buy a 2080ti for way to much.
Even if i can mine 1 coin a day or week. Compared to Bitcoins progress. Its potential for a huge profit in 2-4-6-10 years time. Im sure Grin Will move a LOT faster in development than retard Satoshis Bitcoin. Lol.
Im going to keep that puppy running until it stalls!
In the time being im buying every day until my miner switches on.
Even if shit goes cucku to zero! Iām going to have thousands of coins. A chance for some serious wealth and possibilities to make and finance shit that I love and beilieve in later on.

Keep in mind the saphire card is a lot more power hungry. To get the same has rate of a 2080ti (1.2gps @ 275-300w) you will need three sapphire cards @525 w.
I am not sure how long we will need to wait for these cards to ship.
Also i am not sure how much they will charge for shipping, but in my experience, big insensitive companies will send it by some expensive courier that will cost a pretty penny, plus there is a big chance the customer will also get a bill for customs clearance. maybe another 30$ per package.

Point well taken, but at least you can mine now. these ASIC are still vapour-ware until they ship who knows where the difficulty will be when they finally get around to sending you a box.
