That is only true because only few miners mining Grin comparing to Bitcoin at the moment. As soon as Grin gain any adoption, the situation will be the same as on Bitcoin network, large companies will be mining Grin, leaving regular users out of business.
My point is that Grin doesn’t provide any tech advantages in mining comparing to Bitcoin, it’s just the current situation on the network that can change.
I have same concern when big companies jump in to mine Grin, anyways, with current Grin monetary policy, they will not be interested in doing so.
Beam is nothing more than a money hungry experiment to benefit the founders. Grin on the other hand is an experiment to give back to society if the experiment indeed goes far
