As an example, the exchange bitforex accepts grin deposits to their URL. Are there wallets which support this still (since major wallets discontinued this…) ?

Indeed. Exchanges like Bitforex are only usefull for investing in Grin but useless for real world use untill they implement withdrawel and deposit via tor, or even better, slatepacks.
