# Request for Funding, @lehnberg: Q3 (Jul-Sep) 2020

## tl;dr
End of June, my funding from [the previous campaign](https://forum.grin.mw/t/request-for-funding-lehnberg-apr-jun-2020/7130) will expire.
This is a request for a 3 month extension `(Jul - Sep 2020)` in order for me to continue to be able to support Grin with the type of contributions I’ve been doing since 2019.
My rate remains the same: **GBP £2,500/month**.
I’m however making a one-off **deduction of GBP £542.77** to account for previous [funding discrepancies](https://forum.grin.mw/t/correcting-my-funding-discrepancies/7242) that resulted due to movements in x-rates in-between conversion and payment. Hoping it’s going to be avoided moving forward.
I’ll be adding this request to the [agenda for the Jun 30 Governance meeting](https://github.com/mimblewimble/grin-pm/issues/306).

## Motivation
The original motivation still holds true today:

- Media relations
- Focal point for media enquiries
- Weekly status report to keep track of progress.
