# How do I run grin-miner on Mac OSX?

Hi, when I try to open grin-miner on my Mac OSX, the terminal appears and tell me all of this info,  
/Applications/grin-miner ; exit;

thread ‘main’ panicked at ‘called `Option::unwrap()` on a `None` value’, libcore/option.rs:355:21

note: Run with `RUST_BACKTRACE=1` for a backtrace.

How do I go about doing this? I really want to get started mining Grin! Thanks!

I have the same error.

Node syncs, wallet setup but no way to mine.

Thanks for the reply. I already found that article but it doesn’t sort the issue.

Something wrong with Mac Os X mining capability. I’ve seen the error popping up in a few places.
