@ChenUpbit Why not. However, the Grin community never pays to be listed any exchange. This is a community project and powered by donations. It only assists in the listing process for voluntary listings.
At UPbit we do not charge listing fees or integration fees, we charge security deposit of 100,000-250,000 USDT The security deposit is a legal security and is pointed towards risk mitigation.
The security deposit is refunded back to your project at the end of the first month of listing.
For which risk reduction ?
The security deposit will be used as a compensation to cover the losses of investors and users in case the project encounters a substantial problem, such as data theft, technical flaws, security issues, and to name a few.
The security deposit will be fully returned to your project team at the end of the first month of listing.
As said above the Grin community never pays to be listed any exchange. And the security deposit is part of it too
Indeed, we would love to be listed UPbit, but a security deposit is not in line with the spending guidelines of the Grin main and community fund. It would expose those funds to possible risks and attacks by central parties.
Nevertheless we should indeed discuss it during a Grin Community Council meeting.
Added to agenda of Community Council meeting at 7 December 10:00 UTC.

Why would you return it after a month? Any project can encounter problems after X months of listing.
Kucoin and Gate is in top 5 exchanges ,they didnt require such things , Grin is a decentralized, opensource currency.
Upbit is a good exchange. Hope you list it like gate and kucoin before other big ones begin to list mania. Upbit will win a chuck of new customers with Grin.
For 1 month wont secure anything, but for extented time Grin contributers would help and assist you as long as Grin trades at Upbit. Thats a more secure way for you. 1 month security wont earn you anything. Kind regards.
Nice point. Yes @ChenUpbit ?
We need to make sure we follow Upbit procedures and anti-fraud mechanism if we want to apply.

I have sent an e-mail to upbit for verification as described in their site. Hopefully we will receive a response before the meeting and cleared that step.
It was predictable, thank you!
